REO Agent Registration

Step 1 of 4

At Specialized Asset Management LLC (SAM), our REO agents are extremely important members of our team. In support of our real estate agent partners, SAM provides an experienced and responsive support staff, competitive compensation structure, and timely sales negotiations.

We carefully qualify and select each one of our real estate agents to ensure the highest standards for our clients. Agent selection is based on a variety of factors including experience, performance and geographic location. Some of the basic requirements for becoming a SAM agent are as follows:

  • Current Real Estate License in the state where you do business
  • Current E & O Insurance
  • Current General Liability Insurance
  • Membership in your local Board of Realtors
  • Membership in the multiple listing services (MLS) for the areas you service
  • Ability and experience to complete internet based tasks
  • AMP Professional Level is preferred (see Res.Net for more information)
  • Registration with our in-house property valuations platform Valuation Management Systems (VMS). In order to register with VMS, Click Here

You must also have the ability to meet aggressive timelines and other responsibilities, such as:

  • Occupancy Checks within 24 hours
  • Quality BPO completion within 72 hours
  • Ability to sell property within 95-105% of BPO value
  • Willingness to work with occupants regarding relocation
  • Ability to promptly provide delinquent tax, HOA, Code Violations and utility information
  • Willingness to put assigned property utility services into your name (SAM to reimburse)
  • Willingness to assist with coordination of property rehabilitation services
  • Weekly property visits to verify occupancy and/or property condition
  • Completion of monthly marketing reports
  • Aggressive marketing of our properties through the internet, print media and MLS
  • Solid knowledge of local real estate markets and finance options for users and investors

In order to help offset the cost of developing and administering the approved broker network, SAM charges a onetime fee of $75 to all registering agents. Payment of this fee will be collected as part of the registration process and is non-refundable for all approved agents. If your application is denied, the fee will be refunded.

If you are able to meet these requirements and responsibilities and are interested in registering with us, please complete the application/registration process outlined below and we will review for approval.

If you are approved you will be added to our list of approved agents to be considered as business needs are identified in your area. Please understand that even if your application/registration is approved, we cannot guarantee you will receive property assignments and your registration fee is not refundable. We will contact you as business needs arise.

Thank you for your interest in working with Specialized Asset Management LLC.
